Elena Malzew is an independent curator and publisher based in Berlin. She holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies from Leuphana University of Lüneburg, and a BA in Film and Media Studies from the University of South Wales. She is the publisher at BOM DIA BOA TARDE BOA NOITE, a Berlin-based art book press, and co-curates the public art project ‚Über Brücken – Bridging‘ in Cologne. From 2018 to 2023, she co-curated the program of the Hamburg-based project space Come Over Chez Malik’s. Her curatorial practice focuses on questions of shared public space, mechanisms of access and exclusion, the dynamics of center and periphery, and the social and economic conditions of art and its production.
