Elena Malzew is a Berlin-based curator and publisher whose practice unfolds across contemporary art, publishing, and public space. Through long-term collaborative projects, exhibitions, and publications, her work explores questions of shared and public space, access and exclusion, the dynamics of centre and periphery, and the social and material conditions of cultural production.

She holds a Master's degree in Cultural Studies from Leuphana University of Lüneburg and a BA in Film and Media Studies from the University of South Wales. She is publishing and editorial director at BOM DIA BOA TARDE BOA NOITE, a Berlin-based art book press. From 2018 to 2023, she co-curated the programme of the Hamburg-based project space Come Over Chez Malik's. Together with Lisa Klosterkötter, she co-curated the long-term public art project Über Brücken – Bridging in Cologne (2022–2024) and Gegenwart: Doing Youth in Hamburg (2020–2021). She is currently co-curating have not: garden, an exhibition and publication project, together with Melissa Canbaz, Heinz Peter Knes, and Kristin Loschert.

Alongside her curatorial work, she develops editorial and publishing projects in close collaboration with artists, writers, designers, and cultural organizations.
